VDart is actively involved in several minority business groups that promote the development and progress of minority business enterprises. VDart’s president and CEO has attended the nation’s top executive forums for advancing executive leadership within minority business organizations. And, we are member-partners to leading minority business organizations in the state of Georgia and throughout the nation. Our current supplier diversity engagements and groups include:

  • The 2013 Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection (GMPP)

    Georgia

    The GMPP provides mentorship development to Georgia’s emerging small and diverse business entities through collaborative relationships with Georgia corporate giants advancing their supplier diversity initiatives through the effective leadership, growth and development of small business interests.

  • Accenture’s 2014 Diverse Supplier Development Program (DSDP)

    Accenture Diverse Supplier Development Program (DSDP) leads the nation as the premier supplier development program for producing and expanding top performing minority organizations. The development program was launched in 2006 as a formal mentoring program. Through a selection process, the program connects diverse suppliers with Accenture executives to learn business strategies for growth and expansion. The program offers quarterly training symposiums and one-on-one meetings between the suppliers and executive mentors. The program’s goal is to continually foster engagement and collaboration among the DSDP graduates, current participants and internal stakeholders as Accenture strives to build minority business capacity while sharing knowledge to stimulate growth.

  • The Tuck Executive Program (TEP)

    The Tuck Executive Program immerses senior executives in a broad, strategic general management experience with an unparalleled emphasis on personal leadership transformation. TEP provides an opportunity to learn with a select group of peers who come from a broad range of functional backgrounds and represent a richly diverse mix of top global organizations, industries, and countries. TEP is the shortest of the elite advanced management programs, as noted in a Wall Street Journal survey of advanced management programs at select business schools.

  • Kellogg Advanced Executive Management Program

    The Kellogg Advanced Executive Management Training program offers rigorous learning, accessible faculty and outstanding networking opportunities for small and minority businesses. Set in Kellogg’s culture of teamwork and collaboration, the month-long program delivers an interactive learning experience unavailable anywhere else. The program is geared for executives of fast-growing publicly-held organizations.

  • Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (MBEIC)

    MBEIC

    2014 Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (MBEIC) of the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC) - a regional affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). The Georgia MBEIC provides leadership and insight to minority business throughout the state of Georgia and helps them to connect and do businesses with corporate America.

  • 2014 Board of Directors - United States Pan-Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC)

    The USPAACC is the oldest and largest national, non-profit, non-partisan organization representing Asian-Americans and related groups in business, science, education, the arts, sports, and public and community services. As a thought-leader with a 28-year track record in increasing opportunities and forging strong partnerships between corporations and Asian-American business, the organization has continuously raised the bar for Asian minority businesses.

  • VDart is Now a Corporate Plus National Member

    USPAACC

    Corporate Plus® is an unprecedented membership program for NMSDC-certified minority businesses of the highest caliber. This program was created to address corporate member requests for assistance in locating minority suppliers with the capacity to fulfill national contracts. The Corporate Plus® members have demonstrated their capacity to execute national contracts for major corporations. NMSDC national corporate members nominate MBEs for this designation, which elevates their profile among national corporate members and facilitates the MBEs broader participation throughout the NMSDC network. The success of the Corporate Plus® program and member MBEs helps raise the level and perception of minority businesses to national prominence in Corporate America
